The book has two sections. A) Where we look at the 34 original mat exercises and break them down into their flexibility or “range of Motion” requirements. Using the interactive book, you will then be able to click to the stretches recommended to facilitate or “enable” a better or safer performance of the exercise. You will also be able to click to see counterposes, an idea from Joe Pilates that you ought to relax and stretch the muscles that you have just worked/exercised. Part B) of the book is stretching for the entire body, carefully cued and photographed on the mat. You can use this section as a stand-alone practice, or in combination with the Pilates matwork series.
