Dr Terence Chau
is an accredited sports and exercise physiotherapist, registered in both Hong Kong and Australia, who works at the intersection of clinical practice, professional leadership and academia. He has extensive frontline experience in rehabilitation, sports performance care and musculoskeletal (MSK) pain management.

He holds a Doctor of Business Administration from City University of Hong Kong, a Master of Sports Physiotherapy from Curtin University and a BSc in Physiotherapy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, with additional qualifications in acupuncture, child psychology, resistance training and rowing coaching. His doctoral research examines AI health literacy and the purchasing behaviour of sports injury prevention products, linking digital health, consumer decisions and injury prevention.

Dr Chau is Principal Physiotherapy Consultant at Asian Fitness Therapy Center, a Clinical Educator in an undergraduate physiotherapy programme and in postgraduate training for physiotherapists, and CEO and Programme Director of the Asian Academy for Sports and Fitness Professionals, integrating practitioner insight with teaching and applied research. Beyond clinical and academic roles, he has been a long standing health columnist and radio programme host, and is the author of multiple books on self rehabilitation, fitness and musculoskeletal health, contributing to public education and community health promotion.
