Sports injury is inevitable for many distance runners. However, with the proper use of kinesiology taping technique, you can improve joint stabilization and muscle function, correct joint alignment and protect ligament, etc. which help to relieve pain, enhance sports performance and prevent injury as a result. This episode focuses on the lower limb problems induced by distance running with several common injuries(e.g. runner’s knee, plantar fasciitis, sprain ankle and hallux valgus) selected for illustration. To facilitate your self-learning, we will specifically talk about the taping skills and techniques, points-to-note and common mistakes.
